Final Post

So now I have done trough from week 3 until week 6. So this is the link through the whole week start from:

So after analysis, we have done all of project. Then we must get a question that was answers trough the question with Mr. Jabiz. So this is a video about my conversation with Mr. Jabiz, talking about my project since I have done all of the task. And this is the video:

Analysis

At this week 6, I do make the list and answer the best questions that I already pick from the AOI-Areas Of Interaction in week 2 which are "Analysis". So I make some writing of my answers about my reasons of why does my electric engine doesn't working. So this is the notes about:

I communicate my understanding to the other in several ways. To communicate it is hard to do it, but I did by talks with dad, videos, and posters.

I am worked by started asking with my dad to bring me to go to the engineer in BTC. Afterward I started to ask what actually the electric engine is, in addition to what electric engine that easy to make. After I asked, I started to learn with him, as well as I found one example that I already make it. Next I was practice to my dad and told the function. I told the function that electric engine was working to connected to the electricity that we can use. I was able to communicate with my dad using Bahasa, however I am not using English because, it is doesn’t comfortable plus I don’t have a good vocabulary to explained it. 

Later than I talk with my dad, I started to create the project electric engine and record it. I put some labeled in the video to showed the object that you need. In the first place thing that I explain are what the object is, and why do we need that object. Second I started to explain how does it worked. Finally I explain how to make it while I making the project. I also shared the video to the teacher and to my dad. I used video to be my communicated for understanding to the others because, it’s easier to do and people I think will like to watch the video than I explained it directly. 

Complete doing the video; I make some posters about the object that was shows what you must need while you make want to make it. Therefore I have given some picture each object for the poster. I used poster to show communicate my understanding to the others because, it is helps people to know first what object that they need. After that I give some pictures on each labeled so the people know what does the object looks like and the named is. 



First that I think is, the wire doesn’t really connected to get the electricity from battery and magnet because, the wire is little bit rusty and the wire should be new and not rusty, therefore the electricity worked even maybe it’s not really twist fast. However the electric engine that I make, does worked by the wire was very hot and if we touched it the electricity will current.

Application

Now I started to make a short video demonstrated for what I think, that what happened next. And here's I put some video and label of the object. So in Application I did have to do a lists that I make beginning and this is the lists are:
Use the material to construct a simple machine. Complete the task by making a short video of what have you done that you making the electric motor engine, and does it worked or not.

Comprehension of the Electric Engine

Now I did little bit of resources whether from my family or websites. So this is my explaining about what I did learned know.

The main points that I think is battery because, we need energy to make the electrical energy. When I started to ask my dad, I know about the model of the different object. So this is the named of the object that I already know: battery, wire, and magnet. This is some of the label that I make, to show the objects:

Of course if I get started to do create an engine, it will be completely hard and maybe it doesn’t worked. It is because; this is the first time I make the engine. Because this is the first time I make the engine so it would be long to make it, I think probably around 3 weeks. I predict that my dad, people that expert that I can talked with, website, or videos from YouTube is that can helped me to explained all about how to make the engine if electrical engine that I already choose.

Now I know that electric engine has a bigger engine and these are the examples of the usefulness of the big electric engine:

Engine-Electrical Engine

So this is the list that I pick:

• Describe what the machine models are easy to make?
• List the most important part to make an electric machine, especially for the “Reed Switch Motor”
• Write down all I have know and write how and an important part of what makes the machine will work perfectly?

I pick one of the engines that are easier, and it’s electric engine because, I think it isn’t complicated to make it. First I must to know what is electric machine, and I found that electric machine is an electromechanical system that used one or more superconducting elements.  

I know little bit about this electric machine, and so I’ll trying to get more knowing in this topic. Now I had decide what types of electrical machine do I want to get more, and I did choose to know about a simple electric motors. First that I know about electric machine is a machine that changes to electrical energy into mechanical energy. Then I have decided to make a “Reed Switch Motor”. This is the simplest motor and reliable. So now I need to know more about what the important things that I need to do making the electric machine “Reed Switch Motor”. Also I need to know what the length that I need, and the magnetic field in Weber, and does the current of amperes it works? , So the machine will works.

Jeep

I am interested in the Jeep. I am very pleased to learn driving, and can tamper by own self. Since childhood, I really was a fan of the Jeep then, I have miniature collections, also like to collect the magazine about it. Over many weeks on Sunday, I use that time to see a show named “Tumplek Blek”.

This show put a Jeep that will run over a former saloon car, up until the Jeep will going to roll around. I am also like to follow the Jeep parts exhibitions until the paintings of it. If it is doesn’t have any shows, also I liked to learn to drive the Jeep in field. Then until I followed and watched, how to unloading and repair the damaged part.

This topic was related to Approaches to Learning part of Areas Of Interaction.

So I did make video about 2 sentences and example using my reflection.

Adverb

So I did make a movie that was tell the example of adverb.

present tense-my daily life

So I did make the video about present tense. I took 5 pictures about my daily life, and make the present tense.

So I did chose the videos that can be described onto the adjective words. Next I chose the adjective words that related to the videos. I put the videos together in imovie after finished the adjective words. In imovie I did put some introduction and put the adjective words that I already chose. After finish I share it into the garageband. In garageband I did put some music like beats and guitar playing, also put my voice that were described the movie so, when the people watch this video it would be have a cleared voice that was related to the movie. Next I shared it into Itunes, then I did uploaded into blog.

I enjoy this assignment, but some of the part I don't enjoyed it because, when the part of garageband it was difficult. It is difficult because, it's hard to combined the music and the voice because, when it is played the music or the beat must be lower than my voice, so it my voice it would be loud and clear. My favorite part on this assignment is, to put the music or beats that were related to the video.

Nouns

In this semester 2, we learn about Part of Speech and some part of them that we've learn is Nouns. We search about what nouns is and the part of nouns. One by one we search about it and give the example in our Google Mail.  The next step is we search the pictures of the parts of the nouns in Flickr by using creative commons and we put into the Google Mail. Also we must put our name, images by, and we put the tittle of the picture that was related into the topic.

Grammar

1.) I have learn many things that I don't really sure about it, like concrete nouns. Now I can understand all the parts of speech.

2.) I think Brain Pop is a good to learned it because, it's important to now the grammar also the parts of speech. But I think the video not really good because, it's too boring and the good is the quiz.

3.) I think using Google Docs and shared it the documents together  is not good enough because, when we working they can delete our work or changed it. But in other position it's good to do, so we can shared the information that we know to the other that maybe don't know before.

4.) We can make like a quiz, comic book, or can be a pop up book that shows the pictures of the examples of Parts of Speech. I would teach the grammar using quiz or pop up book.

Presentation-Facts of Bamboo-Power Point

I did choose and made a presentation, about facts of Bamboo using Power Point because, it's not hard to explained and had a simple presentation. Also it's good to know more about Bamboo that can be very useful, example in Indonesia from decades until now are still used to their daily life. Not to complicated to do.

Curious

I was curious that why Indonesia was still not comfortable, clean, and safe. There are very many in our cities like Jakarta, which some of the most big cities that were still not safe by a theft, murder, kidnapping children, and the most severe when it is bribery money or could be called Corruptor. There are still many towns attacked by the disease dengue fever, is caused by a number of the garbage that stacked up until it's decompose. It cause of us to, that wasn't think the garbage that stacked up still useful. Example: Use it for fertilizer, recycle bag, or anything that could be useful for us and for our environment too. Now many news from newspapers or television came, and that's all about flood, and it's cause of the rubbish that was too many and everywhere like in the river or in the drain.

I was curious about this topic because, I want to know when Indonesia can be a better to our environment and us. I want Indonesia can be more comfortable, clean, and safety. I know we can do it, but we just too lazy to do it. It's just a little bit hard to do because, many peoples will do the same thing that they do it for the last time.

Emotive Language

In ESL class we started to learn about emotive language. We started to learn about emotive language, because we need to know our express by using the images and different words of emotive language and we must know the meanings of emotive words. We used a thesaurus to find different words. In thesaurus, also we learned new vocabulary words, which we don’t understand yet. Next we learned how to make a Google mail and make our first document, and put the emotive language in our document.
Also we learned about creative commons + copyright, because we must know the pictures that could or couldn’t taken in Flickr by our self to make the emotive words to had the picture. The next steps we must found the emotive words images by using creative commons in Flickr, and edited, combined the words, and design the emotive pictures by using Picnik website.

We must put the link of creative commons images that we take it, in our emotive language Google documentary. After we finished put the link we make second document for emotive images using our design by Picnik. Also we must to print it out to be a class display of emotive language.

Traffic Jam

  Jakarta is the  biggest and dirtiest city in Indonesia. Filled with fuming traffic, and burning pollution. When you in Jakarta it is rarely you see a smooth traffic. Congested and traffic everywhere. There are 6 million vehicles in Jakarta, and the number is growing everyday. Jakarta produced 13,000 tons of Carbon Dioxide, EVERY DAY, and  that’s a very huge amount. There are still too many people using their own private cars.The people in these cars are frustrated and livid. Public Transportation is an effective mode to reduce Air-pollution. Traffic in Jakarta can’t be separated, because the high vehicle by the owner transportation as 9 to 11 percent per year, and this is not supported to the public transportation from development. We will find out the comforts, cleanliness and the most important is safety of each public transportation. There are only 30% of green space in Jakarta, the rest are building, houses and roads.

Reflection On Traffic Jam

In ESL classes this semester 2, we make a poster of the video that we created in English lessons. We can choose a suitable photo for our poster, whether it's from Flickr and use Creative Commons or take photo by our self. We must show the emotive language that can make people excited to see it.

I prefer take a pictures of Mini Metro bus to be my poster. I chose my own pictures because the Bus Metro Mini will be my inspiration to get my emotive language for my poster. It’s showing us that Metro Mini Bus always threw of the gas that can harm us, our environment, and also create a pollution be spread. Including my movie is about public transportation that is; does public transportation in Jakarta is an effective mode to reduce air pollution.

Then we uploaded the picture that we have chosen or token by our self into the website named Bighugelabs. In this website, we can added our title, tagline, and credits. Tagline is important because, in the poster should be words that can attract people's attention, to awaken the people of Jakarta and Indonesia to build more advanced in terms of reducing this increased pollution. The tagline that I chose is, “Massive Vehicles, How can we change?” In this words is saying many vehicles that threw the gas everyday, and how can we change if the pollution came out again and every time, to be not pollution.

My title is Traffic Jam because, I think it’s attract people to know more about Traffic Jam in Jakarta, that can affected to the air pollution and about sickness. I also use emotive language for the poster because; it’s attracted people to be aware of Jakarta now. Credits also important because, in the poster all people must know whom the writers, photography and the editors, and the song.

I hope my poster will attract people to be aware of Jakarta, and can change Jakarta to be better. If I can change Jakarta to be better, first that I’ll do is makes many plants, and I’ll protect the forests from wood tiff that cut it of all day, and not planting anymore.

The part that is easy to me is to take a picture by myself and uploaded the picture to bighugelabs. It’s easy because, I like to take a picture of Jakarta. The part that is hard to me is, to make the tagline that can attract people to know more about Jakarta because; I need to be creative for the words. The words that I’ll make for the information is, Massive Vehicles, Traffic Jam, How can we Change? Because, the information from the documentary is says “As you know that Jakarta is the biggest city in Indonesia and produce 13.000 tons of carbon dioxide, EVERY DAY. And it’s the huge of pollutions.”
